Fees and Appointment Scheduling
Office hours are Monday through Friday 8 AM- 7 PM and Saturday 8 AM - 2 PM. Intake appointments typically last 60-90 minutes. Individual, couples, and family sessions are 50 minutes. Group sessions last 60-90 minutes, depending on the participants and topics. Psychological evaluation session times vary depending on the reason for referral and measures being administered. We offer a free initial consultation for you to come in to discuss our services and meet with your potential therapist to ensure a “good fit.”
Please phone to discuss the specific fees for each of our services. Psychological Wellness Center accepts payment by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Clients are responsible for payment at the time services are rendered unless an alternate arrangement has been worked out. If an appointment is to be cancelled or rescheduled, 24 hours notice is required in order to avoid a service charge. To schedule an appointment please phone us at 561-207-7625. The psychologists at Psychological Wellness Center are not on insurance provider panels and do not direct bill or accept direct payments from insurance companies. This was a decision made by our psychologists to protect the rights of clients. As a result, clients can decide if and when they would like to release their confidential mental health information to their insurance company. This also allows our psychologists the ability to focus on providing patients with the best possible treatment. It is important for you to understand the risks versus benefits of billing mental health services through your insurance company. Please phone us and we will be happy to discuss this with you in further detail.
If you would like to submit claims for insurance reimbursement, we will help you with this process by providing you with forms, invoices, or any other documentation you may need to submit. Psychological Wellness Center personnel will assist you in this process to the extent they are able. Please work directly with your insurance company to determine your mental health coverage for out of network providers. This will enable you to budget appropriately for your treatment.
